JCC Policies

Cancellations and Refunds
Fees are NOT refundable after an activity or a class begins. A program with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and the entire fee refunded. In the event that a class appears under-enrolled, the JCC will attempt to notify registrants in a timely fashion.

Cards
Cards must be carried when using the Center facilities to protect your member- ship privileges. Participants using the physical fitness facilities must show membership cards before entering. Lost membership cards can be replaced for $2.00.

Customer Satisfaction
If at any time you have a question, comment or complaint, don’t keep it to yourself - tell us. We’ll act on your feedback to the best of our ability. Please keep in mind that the JCC functions through lay committees. We invite you to be an active participant in the decision making process by serving on a committee!

Parking
Jewish Community Center-Uptown: JCC parking is available to Center members, using the fitness center, at the perimeter of the back field on Leontine and Atlanta Streets. Please display your JCC valid parking pass in your vehicle. If parking elsewhere in the neighborhood, please observe all signage and restrictions.

Goldring-Woldenberg Jewish Community Center-Metairie: JCC parking is available to Center members in the parking lot adjacent to the building. If parking elsewhere in the neighborhood, please observe all signage and restrictions.

Room Rentals/Parties (Jewish Community Center - Uptown Only)
JCC facilities are available for rent to Center members at a discounted price. Please call Leslie Fischman at 897.0143, ext. 123 for details.

Scholarships
The Jewish Community Center believes that a person should not be denied the opportunity to benefit from its services due to an inability to pay the full fee. Payment plans are available for memberships and services and adjusted fees are available for services and some membership levels.

Smoke Free Policy
The JCC is a smoke free environment. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the Center or outdoor program areas.

Tributes and Funds
Proceeds to Center tribute funds help fund the Center's many varied programs in early childhood, youth, camp, adult, senior adult activities, library, leadership, endowment funds and building fund. To make a donation to any fund, you may call or stop in at the JCC reception desk to pick up a donation envelope.

Volunteerism
Our JCC thrives due largely to the efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Call the Center to discover the joy of being a JCC volunteer.
