MIND MATTERS

Mind Matters is designed specifically for those concerned about keeping their memory sharp. In this "boot camp for the mind" you will discover techniques to improve memory, participate in stimulating discussions and learn from others undergoing similar challenges.Course materials are provided. This program is open to the public. You don ’t have to be a JCC member to participate.

MAH JONGG

Either exercise from a chair or standing, according to your comfort level.  This class is designed for seniors at all levels and abilities.  This class involves stretching, strength training and cardio.

Rabbi Loewy of Gates of Prayer will join us again to lead an interesting discussion on a topic close to his heart.  We will meet at the Metairie JCC so bring your lunch.  Dessert and coffee will be served.

A representative from Energy Smart NOLA will come out to discuss ways to save energy without spending much money, as well as give some information on Energy Smart energy efficiency incentives for major investments like insulation.
