2011 JCC Maccabi Games will be in Israel from July 24 - August 5

BOYS SPORTS: Basketball, Soccer, Bowling, Swimming, Tennis and Table Tennis

GIRLS SPORTS: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Swimming, Tennis and Table Tennis

*Please note that spaces on Team New Orleans will be based on Tryouts. We cannot guarantee that you will receive a spot on Team New Orleans, we have only 9 spots for athletes this year. You may tryout for two sports.

The athletes arrive in their host city on Sunday afternoon and participate in an Opening Ceremonies program very much like the Olympic Games. They enter the arena as a Parade of Athletes by city and enjoy a night of performances to kick off the week. The athletes compete in their sports over the next few days and enjoy social events each night to with over 1,000 Jewish Teens from across the country. One afternoon is spent with the teens participating in a service project called Day of Caring and Sharing. The week ends with a closing party where the teens can meet up with their new friends one more time before heading back to their home city on Friday morning.
