There will be no camp on Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.
Registration Policy
- JCC Membership is required to enroll your child in camp. Please contact our Membership Directors with questions. Monika Flurer (Uptown) at monika@nojcc.org or Stephanie Krell (Metairie) at stephanie@nojcc.org.
- Priority Registration is open to current JCC members in good standing who are also returning camp families and/or current JCC Nursery School students. To register, please mail in or drop-off registration forms and a $100 non-refundable deposit per child to the front desk. After March 7, camp registration is open to all JCC members on a first come, first served basis.
- Registration opens to new camp families on March 7 at 1:00 PM.
- ALL CAMP FORMS AND FEES ARE DUE BY MAY 14. Medical forms MUST be signed by a licensed pediatrician.
- After May 1, a $25 administrative processing fee will be charged for session change requests.
- Insurance – A $10 insurance fee is required for ALL campers.
- Camp T-shirts – All campers will receive one complimentary t -shirt. Camp t-shirt must be worn on all field trips.
American Red Cross Swim Program
All Aquatics Staff are certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors (WSI). The primary goal of the JCC is to teach water safety skills and basic strokes to all campers while maintaining small group lessons tailored to the needs of each child. JCC instructors follow all American Red Cross Swim Instruction guidelines and lesson plans. Parents will receive progress reports every two weeks from the swim instructor to ensure successful communication of your child’s progress. Contact the Aquatic Directors for further details.
Financial Assistance
The New Orleans JCC maintains a policy of fee adjustment on an individual need basis. Limited funds are available for the purpose of providing financial assistance. To apply for a fee adjustment, please contact Leslie Fischman (Uptown) at leslie@nojcc.org , or Wendy Goldberg (Metairie) at wendy@nojcc.org.
