The Jewish Community Center’s Early Childhood
Summer Camps, directed by our professional Nursery School
Director and Assistant Director, are designed to enhance the
preschool experience for your young child. Campers who currently
attend the JCC Nursery School will benefit from continuity of care,
enjoying summer in a familiar environment. For JCC newcomers,
camp is a chance to experience the diversity of our membership
and the loving support given by our staff. The experienced
counselors provide each child with developmentally appropriate
activities in the areas of art, music and sports. In addition, all
children will participate in daily water play activities. Three- and
four-year olds will also have the opportunity to participate in swim lessons led by our certified American Red Cross Water Safety
Instructors.
The most important aspect of the JCC Summer Day Camp program is the authentic play experience your child will enjoy each day at camp. Young children need the space, materials, and guidance by caring and qualified adults to explore independently and in groups. Our counselors help each child acquire knowledge, build selfesteem and learn problem solving skills. At the JCC Summer Day Camp, youngsters have fun while building the social and emotional foundations needed for future success as they grow.
