Toddler Social Club

One Sunday each month, little ones have the chance to play with parents and friends at the JCC. Sometimes it's music with Ms. Lala, other times it's stories with the Cat in the Hat or play time on the Marks Park Play Yard, but it's always a fun opportunity to interact and spend the morning together. Toddler Social Club is a free event open to all children ages birth to 5years old and their parents.

Family Fun Nights

JCC families gather by the pool on hot summer nights to enjoy food and games. This event is free and open to all JCC members. On this night only, members are encouraged to bring their pool toys to enjoy in the JCC pool!

Family Shabbat Dinners

An occasion for the members of the community to experience a traditional family Shabbat dinner, this event is held twice a year in the Mintz Auditorium. Learn the Shabbat blessings, taste Shabbat foods such as brisket or noodle kugel and sing zemirot – traditional songs sung on Shabbat. The Family Shabbat dinner often includes an arts-and-crafts activity, designed especially for the younger attendees.

Membership Appreciation

The JCC celebrates its members a couple of times a year with special appreciation days . On these days members enjoy festivities, JCC gifts and special treats throughout the JCC.

Dip and Dine

Spend Memorial Day by the Metairie pool and nosh on a hot dog picnic! We'll have hot dogs, chips, drinks and ice pops -- our way of welcoming the summer and thanking our members for being part of the J. Come have fun, and enjoy!
