Yom Ha'aztmaut - Israel Independence Day

Celebrate Israel's Birthday

Celebrate Israel’s Birthday with music, folk dancing, and Israeli food. This JCC event, in cooperation with local synagogues and Jewish organizations, keeps growing and changing — just like Israel itself. In past years, activities have ranged from an Israeli version of Jeopardy to a symbolic tour of Israel that included Bedouin tents and a climbing wall topped by the mountain citadel of Massada. Yom Ha’Atzmaut gives the JCC the opportunity to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day with the entire community and educate the public on the Jewish Homeland.
