Weight Room/Cardiovascular Center

The Goldring Fitness Center weight room and cardiovascular center can comfortably accommodate members who want the full range of strength, flexibility, cardio and rehabilitation training equipment. The JCC staff constantly updates the machines, drawing on the experience of staff and members to find the best workout tools from top manufacturers. Mini-lockers within the fitness center are available to secure valuables.

Group Exercise Studio

The 2,000-square-foot studio has a suspended wood floor, state-of-the-art music system and instructor’s wireless microphone. Group Exercise classes take advantage of the wide variety of equipment ranging from 17 Shwinn Indoor Cycling bikes and Pilates Magic Circles to stability balls, medicine balls and foam rollers. 

Circuit Training Room

Designed to provide members with a balanced, low-impact 30-minute workout, the 600-square-foot circuit training room features equipment that builds strength while increasing cardiovascular fitness.  This self-directed program can be tailored for all ages.

Pilates Reformer and Fit Testing Room

Allegro Pilates reformers are available for private and semi-private sessions*. This room also houses JCC fitness testing equipment. *Prices vary by number of sessions purchased.

Racquetball

A racquetball court is available by reservation at no charge to Gold Members.

Kohlmann Health Spa

The Kohlmann Health Spas for men and women provide a relaxing atmosphere before and after a workout.  Both spas include a lounge, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, plus private massage rooms, dressing rooms, and shower facilities. Manicures, pedicures and other spa services are also available by appointment.  Towels and other amenities are provided to Gold members. Daily lockers and locks are available at no cost.  Annual locker rental and laundry service are available for a fee.

Massage Rooms

Private massage rooms are located in each Spa and a co-ed massage room is located near the group exercise studio.  Licensed massage therapists are trained in a variety of approaches. Massages are available for members and non members. Please see the current rate sheet for pricing.

Gymnasium

The air-conditioned gymnasium contains a full-sized court for basketball and volleyball and can be divided into two junior courts.  JCC members use this space for open court basketball, birthday parties and other gatherings. This court is considered one of the finest hardwood floors in the city!

Swimming Pool (Open from May-September)

The JCC outdoor pool comfortably accommodates adult lap swimmers, divers, youth classes, swim teams and members who just want to relax on one of the many lounge chairs. It consists of six 25-yard lanes, a recreation area and a diving area with two boards. A separate wading pool is available for toddlers and preschool children.

Men’s and Women’s Family Locker Rooms

Located beside the pool and gymnasium, the locker rooms include separate bathrooms, showers and lockers for the whole family.  Lockers are available to secure valuables at no cost.
